It was like one of those bad 80's movies.

You know the ones where there's a huge inheritance waiting in the wings, but the protagonist just doesn't have the guts to pull the plug to get it. So it's marginally alive for the sake of "feeling better" but the main goal is to get rich and have the sucker die.

Basically this. I mean we did get 4 years and 4 months out of the game, but it came at a price.

I'm hoping that the EMU won't be the same story, that we'll do better than SOE did. That's my hope anyways.
