Visually Impaired Gamer Sues SOE

Last month, disabled gamer Alexander Stern filed suit against Sony, Sony Online Entertainment, and Sony Computer Visually impaired gamer sues Sony OnlineEntertainment America in the United States District Court for the Central District of California requesting accessibility features in game. The suit alleges that Sony is violating the Americans with Disabilities Act by failing to implement features to make its games accessible to visually impaired gamers.

Well DUH! They're called VIDEO games because they rely on VISUAL cues! Blind people suing a company because they can't play video games is like people without arms suing the American Armsport Federation because they were denied participation to an armwrestling competition!
This is not a lawsuit, this is a lolsuit.

The Americans with Disabilities Act states that, "No individual shall be discriminated against on the basis of disability in the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, or accommodations of any place of public accommodation by any person who owns, leases (or leases to), or operates a place of public accommodation."

So, if we take this literally, people without arms have the right to be admitted to armwrestling competitions, blind people have the right to serve as snipers in the army, and deaf-mutes have the right to work as interpreters.
