Any member running Vista/ 7 OS Read: - Valaro - 03-31-2010
Have you been playing MxO and wanted to get rid of that damn shadow affect on your Characters face? Well there is a simple fix!
Paste this into you useroptions.cfg file:
modellighting_enable = 0
modellighting_ambadd_r = 0.33
modellighting_ambadd_g = 0.33
modellighting_ambadd_b = 0.33
PlayerFX_LightPool_Bright_Scale = 0
And voila fixed!

Really after all these years. Thank you for the fix. I have always hated that forehead boarder thought it was an issue with the nvidia cards vs ATI. Again thank you, worth a point I think.

At last... This little hint would have made two friends of mine which played mxo on Vista happy... Sad that there was no more true official support at this time...
