I too would like the true ending confirmed if possible. the whole Smith Virus was talked about since last Feb. and it spread around like.. well. the Smith Virus. so I could only assume it was possible.

The Matrix died due to the horrible headmaster (SOE) destroying it's remaient's. Then, in the brink of complete wipeout, a group of hero's (the devs here) came here to pick up the peice's the headmaster left behind. And slowly but steadly, they rebuilt what was completely lost.
And so, the Matrix 3.0 is in the works.

does anyone remember the stuff about Seraph being "the one" prior to Neo? that story never got fully told. just hints and such. I always hoped he would have a play in the resurrection of Neo. not sure where I began piecing that all together.
