Well, i'm working on another personal project (phone hacking) too, so may take a while as i'm being "Age of Empires Online" betatester too. My NDA doesnt allow me to communicate inner things, but i can say that it's fun for me.
I thinking in scripting the plugins so they are "translated" at boot. i mean, put it in text- human readable files (xml) outside the compiled server. It's a bit complex so i will try to work on a little test to see if it could be or is just a mad man dream. Success on this would make plugins easy to the public (like editing a website code).
Not forgetting hanging out and going to work/college.

Just discovered this forum two days ago... and I know pretty much nothing about any of what you actually do, but just wanted to express my extreme support to the project. Never got to play the original game, and I would really like to.
It would be interesting for you to post exactly what you did to achieve what you have achieved so far. Both for information and support purposes.
