Atari 2600:
Combat
Choplifter
Joust
Pole Position
Pitfall

Colecovision:
Centipede
Dig Dug
Zaxxon

N64: mmm gameshark
Goldeneye
Perfect Dark
Star Wars Episode I: Racer

Gamecube:
SSX Tricky
Super Smash Bros Melee

Xbox:
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
I always liked flight sims:
Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe (my first)
Combat Flight Simulator 1, 2, and 3
IL-2 Sturmovik series
Great history, the satisfaction of shooting the crap out of your enemies and watching them ride flaming death to the ground...what's not to like? You can never get too much of this.

I'll always remember fondly:
Wizardy 6 and 7 for intricate combat and lots of it. You could tell trhe designers were having fun writing it. And the glorious hacks.
Baldur's Gate: great story and writing and characterization. Way intricate combat options.
KOTOR: Immense replay value and great characters. Still, I'm damn sick of droids and the SW sound effects.

Never understood the buzz for:
WoW: The South Park episode nailed this so well. And when I look at the guys in my company who play this, I can only shake my head. That being said, WoW has a phenomenal business model which can only inspire awe and respect. 11 million players times $15 a month = geysers of liquidity.
Second Life: No combat, no looting, no levels, I mean what's the point? Still, the reasonably crisp graphics and a cover story in Business Week keep people coming, I guess.

Was driven nuts by:
Infocoms: The Zorks and many others which had so many points where you could screw up and make the game unwinnable. Some call it challenging, I call it bad, primitive game design. Even today, every time I read "dark twisty passages" I reach for the bottle.

Still smile at:
Spellcasting series by Legend.
Meretzky's Infocom stuff, like The Leather Goddesses of Phobos. So much funny material!
Zork Grand Inquisitor: Much fun, liked the music, Infocom references, and self-referentiality a lot. I still pull it out now and then.

Most moved by:
MxO. Great music, great graphics design, whacked program management. And Walrus seemingly would have been hard pressed to run a hot dog stand, let alone something like MxO.

Will someday succumb to:
EVE Online. Love the graphics and complexity. I'm saving this vast empire of intricacy for when I retire and can spend 30 or 40 hours a week learning "skills" and farming. Like when I retire.
Favorites:

Half Life...ALL OF THEM - I play the entire series every spring...never gets old

MxO - Duh.

Legend of Zelda: Majora's mask - I dont know what it is about that game, keeps bringing me back.

World In Conflict - When you don't wanna build bases, but you wanna blow shit up. This is the game.

GoldenEye - No Brainer.

Starfox 64 - DO A BARREL ROLL

Battlefield 1942 - An endless book of gaming memories.

Metal Gear (series) - Far fetched, but the depth is interesting.

Indifferent:

Halo (Series) - I cant put my finger on it, I'll get figure out why one of these days.

I can so agree with that, don't get me wrong 4 and 5 are good games Wesker is amazing. Well before he turns into a rage ball at Chris what imo is so un-wesker in 5. but however, as everyone says. "it's a good action game, but a bad resident evil"
Lovin': All steam games, MXO shit like that.

Hatin: WoW. Yuck.
Love:
MxO obviously
Fallout 1,2,3
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (infocom text adventure)
Civilization series

Hate:
WoW (the McDonalds of mmo's. I can't stand McDonalds either but that's another thread.)
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (had the worst time trying to prove to a door that I was an intelligent being)

Made me LOL:
Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (I had to prove to a door that I was intelligent.. HAHAHAHAHAHA)
